Blogging is Discipline
John Mayer's latest song, the theme song for Bucket List says: "Say What You Want To Say." True, that is a liberating idea, but when it comes to blogging, unless you don't give a f, there is always an inner self-censor that kicks in. And this is what really kills the blogging spirit. I think blogging should be a spontaneous, creative effort that comes from within and is generated from the right brain. You just write what you feel and go with the flow. That way you get to record everything that comes your way, as real and unpretentious as you can get. I think blogging ought to be a bit raw, after all these are your words, your thoughts, your expressions and your world view. Basically you are writing for yourself to define your thoughts, your feelings and experiences. It is a record that you can look back to, and basically you do it for yourself, and not for others to judge you. The only regret about starting late in the blogging scene, is that I have missed out a whole nine yards, or precious journey, events, and experiences which I could have documented if I have started sooner. But I guess with this new template, I will start anew and just rock with it.
